Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients recover mobility and function.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report to supervising therapists.
- Support patient education on exercises and recovery protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of Maine.
- Prior experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and documentation procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with outpatient or skilled nursing settings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
