Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide care to OB triage, labor & delivery, postpartum, well-newborn, and special care nursery patients.
• Administer medications such as IV therapies, antibiotics, and short-term respiratory support (CPAP or O2).
• Interpret fetal monitor strips and assist with vaginal deliveries; participate in newborn resuscitation and immediate postpartum care.
• Utilize electronic medical records, including EPIC and OBIX, for charting and fetal monitoring.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and badge in/out at the facility.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience.
• Proficient in fetal strip interpretation and newborn resuscitation.
• Valid licensure and certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (must be current).
• Experience with EPIC and OBIX computer charting systems.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends (2 out of 3).
• Must note if previously employed at the facility; if yes, end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
• Must badge in and out at the facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a labor & delivery setting with a 12-bed unit.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:2-3.
• Cross-training in general medical units is a plus.
