Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective delivery experiences.
• Monitor fetal heart rates using AWHONN fetal heart monitoring protocols.
• Assist with OB procedures, including OR circulating duties, as needed.
• Support patients in various units, including ICU or ER, during floating shifts.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (Epic).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certifications.
• Active and on-file certifications and licenses (including MT license/MT/compact).
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• OB experience with OR circulating skills.
• Ability to float to MS units, ICU, or ER as needed.
• Active certifications and licenses must be valid and submitted at the time of application.
• Must comply with hospital's 200-mile radius rule and RTO policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience assisting in complex OB cases.
• Flexibility to float to multiple units and handle diverse patient needs.
