Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical units.
• Perform procedures specific to ER and Med Surg nursing, utilizing equipment such as Sanford One Charge and Pixis.
• Function independently in a fast-paced environment managing up to 5 patients.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and dress code, including Sanford Navy scrubs.
• Complete all required training, including EPIC, ER, and Med Surg training.
• Float between ER and Med Surg as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Must hold valid BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week in 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Must badge in and out at the facility.
• Prior experience in ER and Med Surg nursing with 6 months of recent experience in each within the past year.
• Must be able to function independently and manage multiple patient acuity levels.
• Must meet state licensure requirements for registered nurses.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification is a plus.
• NRP certification is advantageous and can be completed onsite with approval.
• Experience working in computerized charting and medication systems.
