Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency and medical-surgical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Assist with procedures and interventions typical of ER and Med Surg units.
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and document care using electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between ER and Med Surg units as needed, supporting staffing and patient needs.
• Adhere to healthcare facility policies, including dress code and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including recent ER or Med Surg experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications prior to start.
• Ability to work independently in the ER and manage up to 5 patients in Med Surg.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.
• Must badge in and out at the facility daily.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Sanford Health or similar healthcare providers.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience with ER procedures, including use of Sanford One Charge and Pixis systems.
• NRP certification a plus, can be done onsite with approval.
• EPIC computer charting training completion.
