Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Round Rock, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract, Days shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-operative nursing care and Phase 2 recovery for ambulatory surgery patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to anesthesia during recovery
- Administer BLS and ACLS as required
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care
- Document patient status and care activities in electronic medical records
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Experience in perioperative or PACU nursing (minimum 1 year)
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with outpatient surgery or ambulatory procedures
- Ability to handle fast-paced, busy units
- Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
