Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Spokane, WA
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, full-time, temporary, with on-call responsibilities, alternating weekends, block scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum units
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, utilizing advanced training in LDRP or NICU as required
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records
- Rotate between units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care
- Respond to on-call situations and emergencies promptly
Required Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington
- Experience or training in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum (LDRP) and NICU preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills: - Previous experience in Level III Trauma Center or similar acute care settings
- Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
- Flexibility to adapt to rotating shifts and unit assignments
