Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a 20-bed intermediate care unit, including step-down, telemetry, and med-surg patients.
• Float between units such as Medical-Surgical, ICU, and Emergency Department as needed.
• Monitor and care for patients with cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and renal conditions using various treatments and protocols.
• Perform continuous neuro checks, seizure assessments, and operate EEG monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments including drips, IV medications, and dialysis procedures.
• Document patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS (American Heart Association).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a similar setting.
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification preferred.
• Proven experience with cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and renal patient care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for cardiothoracic surgery, CHF, atrial fibrillation, COPD, neuro patients, and dialysis.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
