Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in coordination with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered services.
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, accurately document patient information, and monitor ongoing patient needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute individualized care plans that address physical and psychosocial needs.
  • Administer medically ordered interventions, including vaccines, and evaluate patient responses.
  • Recognize significant changes in patient condition, prioritize care, and notify medical providers as needed.
  • Promote infection control, safety, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Support clinic operations by participating in audits, compliance, and performance improvement activities.
  • Advocate for patient rights, privacy, and health literacy through respectful communication and education.

Required Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Nebraska or multistate licensure in a compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proficient in electronic health record systems for documentation and patient care.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and handle confidential information professionally.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient or clinic settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English and ability to engage effectively with patients and team members.
