- Travel, 13-week assignment, day shift
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures such as Lexi scans, Hida scans, gastric emptying, pulmonary ventilation, bone scans, liver scans, thyroid scans, renal scans, and GI bleed studies.
- Operate and troubleshoot GE nuclear medicine equipment, including cardiac imaging devices.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and comply with Texas regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation using MediTech EMR and PACS systems.
- Collaborate effectively with department staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Support on-call and weekend shift coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential
- Valid Texas Medical Board floating license
- Experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment and cardiac imaging
- Knowledge of radiation safety and Texas state regulations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Y-90 procedures
- Familiarity with lymphoscintigraphy procedures
