Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 3x12s, weekends and holidays as needed, no call, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for stable trauma and surgical patients in a hospital setting.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative nursing for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
• Utilize rapid response teams, administer blood products, and care for peripheral lines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Float between different hospital campuses as needed to support patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with trauma or surgical experience preferred.
• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, blood product administration, and peripheral line management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-volume surgical care, including laparotomies, mastectomies, GYN surgeries, and trauma cases.
• Familiarity with caring for palliative, observation, and medical overflow patients.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.
