Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care during interventional radiology and other special procedures
- Assist physicians during complex interventions and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Adhere to protocols and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations
- Document procedures thoroughly and accurately in patient records
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology or special procedures nursing
- Demonstrated competency in IR and specialized procedures
- Must have been separated from the Bannister Institute of Health (BILH) system for at least 6 months (includes perm, per diem, and contract roles)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with interventional radiology teams
- Strong knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards during procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
