- Full-time, mid-shift (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in the emergency department, applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the care team, physicians, and patients’ families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer direct patient care, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergent situations.
- Follow established protocols and ensure documentation accuracy for all patient interactions.
- Work under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and coordinate with the nursing leadership to maintain quality care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS/RQI certification, with quarterly renewal.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (or equivalent) within 90 days of hire, with annual renewal.
- EKG course completion within 6 months of hire.
- CPR certification.
- De-escalation training completed within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous ER nursing experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with emergency protocols and rapid assessment skills.
