Key Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care for adult patients, including med-surg, oncology, orthopedics, and urology cases.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, including ED HOLD patients and occasional work in ECC/ED for assigned units.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective patient care while maintaining compliance with hospital protocols.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and medication administration.
• Participate in unit orientation and maintain accurate documentation of work history and certifications.
• Be flexible to work a minimum of every other weekend and scheduled holidays as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State nursing license or proof of application with applied date
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry or med-surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required; CMSRN certification preferred
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years (mandatory)
• NIHSS certification required prior to starting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
• Experience working with adult patient populations with varied diagnoses
• Reliable transportation, ability to adapt to a varied schedule
