Full-time, nights (7 PM - 7 AM), 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, treatments, and care interventions accurately.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in medical-surgical, ortho, behavioral health, obstetrics surgical, or pediatric units.
- Experience with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.
- Ability to float to other units such as med-surg, ortho, or PCU as needed.
