Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum patients in a high-acuity environment.
- Manage laboring patients, including C-sections, cerclages, and EDOB cases, maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient progress using EMR systems such as Meditech and CPN charting, adhering to unit protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while working autonomously.
- Support patient and family education throughout the labor and delivery process.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience.
- Demonstrated skills working with antepartum and high-risk obstetric patients.
- Recent experience with labor, delivery, and postpartum patient care.
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Valid nursing license in the state of Colorado.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Mom-baby or couplet care experience.
- Experience with high-risk obstetric procedures and protocols.
- Familiarity with advanced labor and delivery equipment and technology.
