Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changing patient conditions promptly.
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in electronic health records, utilizing Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a hospital setting.
- Ohio license or valid Compact state license in hand.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Recent (within 6 months) Epic charting experience.
- Two recent references from a manager, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty, from assignments within the past 12 months.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
