Special Education Teacher
Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized instruction for preschool students in a self-contained classroom.
• Support students with primarily physical disabilities.
• Collaborate with aides and interventionists present in the classroom.
• Work with administration to ensure a positive classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Contribute to student progress and district goals.
Required Qualifications
• Valid license with either a Pre-K or Special Education endorsement.
• Willingness to obtain the additional endorsement if necessary.
• Experience working with preschool-aged students in a classroom setting.
• Ability to support students with physical disabilities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in a self-contained Pre-K setting.
• Knowledge of physical disabilities and accommodations.
• Strong collaborative skills with aides and school staff.
