Key Responsibilities
• Assist in surgical procedures within the labor and delivery department, with a focus on obstetric surgeries such as Cesarean sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and dilation and curettage.
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Support surgical teams during procedures, including handling instruments and ensuring proper documentation.
• Respond to call shifts as required, maintaining readiness for emergent situations.
• Assist with patient care coordination before, during, and after surgeries.

Required Qualifications
• Valid national certification as a surgical technologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery surgical settings.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric surgical procedures such as Cesarean sections and hysterectomies.
• Ability to work flexible night shift schedule and respond to call shifts.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining sterile techniques in high-pressure environments.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with tubal ligations and dilation and curettage procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting with diverse surgical teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
