Registered Nurse Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, rotating shifts, 12-hour days/nights
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care primarily in telemetry units, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to patient needs
- Float to other departments such as ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed
- Follow rotating schedule of days and nights in four-week blocks
- Adhere to staffing ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 and work within a team environment
- Complete required testing and credentialing prior to start, including passing day-one assessments
- Maintain compliance with hospital and departmental protocols during all shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS certification (AHA)
- Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience with telemetry nursing
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays (excluding Christmas time off)
- Must have been separated from BILH for at least 6 months if previously employed (perm, per diem, or contract)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications are preferred
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred; new grads require Level 1 trauma experience or prior travel
- Ability to adapt to floating across units efficiently
