Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, assembly, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments for the operating room and other hospital departments.
• Prioritize tasks to support patient care and department efficiency.
• Document, monitor, and maintain accurate records demonstrating compliance with sterilization and disinfection standards.
• Support other functions as needed to ensure sterile processing standards are met.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in a large OR environment.
• Certification in Healthcare Sterile Processing (IAHCSMM or CBSPD) required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic, ENT, and vascular surgical sets is a plus.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities within a healthcare setting.
