Job Title

• Albuquerque, NM
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contractual assignment in a hospital setting
Key Responsibilities
• Perform decontamination, instrument assembly, and high-level disinfection or sterilization of surgical instruments for operating rooms and various hospital departments.
• Float between departments and/or local locations within a 20-mile radius as needed to support patient care.
• Document, monitor, and maintain accurate records of sterilization processes in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Prioritize tasks as directed by supervisors to ensure timely and efficient support for surgical procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required to support department operations and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years current experience working in a large operating room environment.
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current certification in HSPA (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and locations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with orthopedic, EENT, and/or vascular surgical instruments is a plus.
• Additional certifications or training in sterile processing preferred.
