Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a telemetry unit, working with adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
- Float to various units including ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding areas as needed.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure patient safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality healthcare.
- Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
- Participate in required practice tests and training to maintain certification standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS (AHA) certification.
- Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (travel experience or recent graduate with applicable training).
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts from 7p-7:30a and 7a-7:30p.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend, with availability for floating every 4 hours when required.
- Passed day one pass/fail testing at time of submission.
- Bilateral health agency screening and compliance documentation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS (AHA) certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Level 1 trauma experience.
- Prior hospital or acute care experience.
