Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Salisbury, MD
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for 5-7 patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and patient transfers.
• Monitor patients with diagnoses such as CHF, renal failure, pneumonia, Cdiff, and diabetes.
• Utilize equipment including tele monitoring, EPIC charting, medication scanning, and remote telemetry.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Active Maryland or compact state RN license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with non-oncology medical-surgical patients.
• Familiarity with telemonitoring and EPIC electronic health records.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
