Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment, including scrub and circulate responsibilities.
- Assist with a variety of procedures such as robotics, transplants, neuro, ortho, trauma, ENT, GYN, Urology, and organ procurement.
- Respond to call shifts with a 30-minute response time and work occasional on-call hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Support patients undergoing complex surgeries such as bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, trauma, and transplants, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Participate in weekly orientation and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid MA nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Experience in OR, preferably in neuro, ortho, trauma, or transplant surgeries
- BILH coversheet completion required for onboarding
- Must be able to respond quickly within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous OR experience with robotic surgery or organ transplants
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
