Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Clarkston, WA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU, PCU, Telemetry, and MedSurg units, demonstrating flexibility across departments as needed.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement patient education utilizing appropriate methods, and address significant others' concerns.
• Ensure patient safety through preventative measures, including proper use of restraints and safety equipment, and follow restraint policies accurately.
• Operate medical equipment safely, troubleshoot issues, and access manuals for repairs when necessary.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including isolation procedures, and utilize standard precautions at all times.
• Document patient status, nursing interventions, and responses accurately and concisely; ensure timely completion of physician orders and medication administration.
• Communicate effectively with team members, provide thorough shift handovers, and report critical lab values promptly.
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, rooms, and general supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  Required Qualifications:
• Valid active Washington RN license.
• Experience in ICU, PCU, Telemetry, or MedSurg units.
• Knowledge of safe operation of medical equipment and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow infection control procedures and documentation standards.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Previous experience working in fast-paced hospital environments.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Flexibility to rotate across departments as necessary.
