Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Rotating shifts, full-time contract

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Document patient progress and care using electronic health records.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and ensure optimal patient care.
• Support the unit’s adherence to safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience or strong CVICU background with floating experience.
• Valid California RN license.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Epic electronic health record experience.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including holidays, weekends, and night shifts.
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Experience with neonatal or pediatric critical care.
• Experience working in a Level IV NICU or CTICU.
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric and cardiac care.
