Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
• Provide therapeutic interventions to promote patient rehabilitation and independence
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the treatment team
• Support patients in therapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and patient interactions
• Follow clinic protocols and comply with healthcare regulations

Required Qualifications

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Valid state licensure or registration, as required
• Prior experience in a healthcare or therapy setting preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience assisting in occupational therapy interventions
• Familiarity with pediatric or geriatric populations (if applicable)
• Knowledge of therapy documentation and electronic health records
