Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: El Paso, TX
Schedule / Job Type: 13-week contract, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), travel assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, including cardiac and surgical recoveries.
• Monitor patient conditions using advanced equipment such as Edwards Hemosphere, Cerelink, Arctic Sun, CRRT (Tablo), and Impella.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and ensure patient safety.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Participate in unit huddles, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, dress code, and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Critical Care experience of at least 2 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts and on-call as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in cardiac recovery (CABG, TAVR, Impella, Kidney Transplant Recovery).
• Familiarity with surgical procedures such as CABG, TAVR, and kidney transplants.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to share knowledge and accept constructive feedback.
