Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Full-time, night shifts (7pm - 7am), 3-shift work week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit following established protocols
- Recognize and interpret ECG rhythm patterns to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly
- Attend orientation sessions to complete assessments and ensure compliance with hospital standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience
- Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with charge RN responsibilities
- Familiarity with electronic charting systems (e.g., Lotus/Qualivis) for submitting hours
