Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a high-volume ER setting.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.
- Ability to pass a Peer Review EKG exam.
- Flexibility to work 3x12-hour night shifts and weekend shifts as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous Charge Nurse or L2 Trauma experience.
- CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Experience working in an emergency department with high acuity levels.
