Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, ensuring patient safety through accurate assessment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to clinical protocols.
- Complete assessments and update patient records in compliance with hospital standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care.
- Meet orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety tests.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Valid Ohio license or permit in a compact state.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
- Recent reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working as a Charge RN is a plus.
- Familiarity with clinical assessment tools and telemetry monitoring.
- Ability to complete ECG tests successfully during orientation.
