Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to patients in an IMC, PCU, or stepdown unit with mixed acuity levels.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and manage oncologic emergencies.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and ensure adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately using electronic health record systems.
• Ensure patient safety through fall prevention and infection control practices.

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients.
• Knowledge of surgical oncology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and plastics patient populations.
• Ability to perform procedures such as blood transfusions, IV antibiotic administration, and chemotherapy management.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in ONS Chemotherapy or related oncology credentials.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, preferably EPIC.
• Strong focus on infection control and patient safety in a busy surgical environment.
