- Night shifts, 13-week contract, inpatient recovery unit
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to postoperative patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia recovery status to ensure safe and efficient recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage patient needs and prepare patients for discharge or further treatment.
- Document patient care accurately and comply with hospital policies and procedures.
- Adhere to patient safety standards and provide compassionate support during recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or related perioperative nursing.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with recovery protocols.
- Ability to work night shift and adapt to a 13-week contract schedule.

Note:
- Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
- Must be available to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
