Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour nights, including weekend rotation, temp-to-hire
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
- Monitor and manage patients with critical cardiac conditions, including post-angiography and hybrid cath lab procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Participate in call rotation, including taking scheduled call shifts every two weeks
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healing environment for critically ill cardiac patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid Colorado RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience, with strong CVICU skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Flu vaccination for the current flu season (October 1st through April 1st) – mandatory
- Experience covering CVICU and CCU unit workflows, including hybrid cath labs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a smaller, community-based hospital setting
- Familiarity with hybrid cath lab procedures and post-procedure patient management
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, night-shift environment
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for team-based care
