Job Title
- Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

- Evergreen, AL
Schedule / Job Type
- Days, Part-time (3 days/week at Evergreen, 2 days/week at West Gate); rotation of one weekend per month
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions to patients of various age groups
- Collaborate with healthcare team and families to support patient progress
- Document assessment findings and therapeutic interventions accurately
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Required Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proven experience in speech and language therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate approach to patient care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of speech therapy equipment and assistive technology
