Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for interventional radiology procedures within the Angiography/IR unit.
- Assist with procedures such as Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging and procedural equipment, including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream systems.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards using the EPIC Cupid system.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other team members to deliver high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR or Special Procedures technologist.
- Experience in critical care settings, including ICU or Emergency Room, is preferred.
- Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interventional radiology and vascular procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Knowledge of stroke and trauma care protocols.
- Experience with high-acuity patient populations.
- Familiarity with advanced imaging technology and interventional devices.
