Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, seasonal travel assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy orthopedic and trauma surgical unit
- Perform dressing changes, aspiration, and other procedural tasks
- Monitor patient progress and coordinate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
- Support a positive team environment and contribute to quality patient experiences
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- Ability to independently manage a five-patient load
- Experience with orthopedic or trauma patients preferred
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pain management experience
- Orthopedic nursing experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech
