Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to adult and geriatric populations with various cancer diagnoses, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, ensuring patient safety and accurate assessment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with patient education, transition to end-of-life care, and support throughout the cancer journey.
- Adhere to infection prevention protocols and fall prevention strategies.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current RN license in Ohio.
- Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and monitoring.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to work nights and handle adult and geriatric patient populations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology experience preferred but not required.
- ONS Chemotherapy certification is a plus.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system.
