Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate emergency care to patients in a busy Level 1 trauma center emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.
• Utilize EPIC electronic charting system for documentation and medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
• Assist in the coordination of patient movement, family communication, and emergency procedures.
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and documentation requirements, including BLS and ACLS certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Epic experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and two holiday shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with new ER layouts and state-of-the-art facilities.
