Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Travel, 13-week assignment, Day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation facility
- Manage patient mobilization, including transfers, mobility assistance, and daily activities
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor telemetry as needed
- Educate patients and families on medication reconciliation and post-discharge care
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license in the state of Texas
- Experience with IV starts/stops, wound care, Foley care, telemetry, and medication administration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and energetic environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility experience
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records
- Outgoing, energetic, and eager to learn about rehabilitation care
