Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Float to different units as needed, including units with dementia patients.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and safety standards.
- Assist with patient assessments and plan of care implementation.
- Ensure documentation and medication administration are accurate and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
- BLS certification through AHA.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to float between units and work with dementia patient populations.
- Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental), equipped for seasonal conditions.
- Must be available to start within the next 2 weeks.
- Must have 7-year background check on file at the time of submission.
- Must provide complete employment history, including facility details, EMR system, bed count, and type.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing environments.
- Comfortable working with dementia and cognitively impaired patients.
- Ability to adapt to different unit environments and patient needs.

Additional Information
- No block schedules allowed; consistent weekly hours expected.
- All work history gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- Travel rate: $75/hour; local rate: $65/hour within 50 miles; radius rate: $70/hour for 51-100 miles.
- Disclose any preplanned time off upfront; contract adherence is required.
- Ensure all employment details such as bed count, EMR system, and facility type are complete for submission.
- Reliable transportation required; snow tires recommended for winter months (November–April).
- No public transportation options available in the area.
