Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, and home health.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring physical function and addressing developmental disorders.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively to support patient progress and discharge planning.
• Oversee rehabilitation programs that promote physical, psychosocial, and environmental well-being.
• Promote patient and caregiver self-determination and optimize outside resource utilization to achieve independence.
• Float between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles as needed to meet patient census demands.
• Maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate understanding of relevant rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate preferred.
• Valid New Mexico Physical Therapy License.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of current experience in physical therapy, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
• At least one year of pediatric physical therapy experience if working with pediatric patients.
• Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with therapeutic data interpretation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic medical record system experience (training available on-site).
• Experience treating infants, children, and adolescents, including motor development, strength, balance, gait, and developmental assessments.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to float between pediatric and adult units as needed.
