Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized imaging and support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within the Cath Lab.
• Assist with complex procedures including cardiac implant closure, stent placements, catheterizations, and percutaneous interventions.
• Set up and operate equipment, recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, and follow sterile protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate within scope to meet facility needs and maintain efficient workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a diagnostic or interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory.
• Active state license to practice in Illinois.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS.
• Cerner electronic medical record system experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adult and older adult populations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac implant procedures, IABP placement/removal, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Familiarity with equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Knowledge of infection control practices, including sterile technique and isolation precautions.
