Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a Med/Surg Tele/IMC unit within a hospital setting, floating between Medical/Surgical and Intermediate Care units as needed.
• Manage a variety of patient conditions including acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma.
• Maintain comfort and safety for patients with ratios typically ranging from 1:4 to 1:6.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• At least 2 years of prior experience on an IMC/Stepdown unit in a hospital setting.
• Recent Epic EMR system experience is mandatory.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, float pool environment.
• COVID-19 vaccination, including flu shot, and two-step PPD required.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience managing patients with complex conditions such as shock, heart failure, or post-trauma recovery.
• Prior experience working in a hospital with a float pool or multiple unit types.
