- Full-time, Day shifts, 4x10-hour shifts, weekdays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients requiring interventional radiology and special procedures
- Assist with procedures such as Angiogram, Fistulogram, Permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and Embolization
- Monitor and manage patient conditions before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure quality patient care and safety
- Participate in on-call rotation every 5th weekend, providing support for urgent interventions
- Complete documentation in Cerner Electronic Medical Record system accurately and timely
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in West Virginia with active RDCS certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with IR/Special Procedures background preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work day shifts and participate in on-call rotation
- Willingness to float within the hospital as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations with complex conditions such as CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, aneurysms, and stroke
- Familiarity with hospital protocols for interventional radiology procedures and critical care support
- Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
