Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy to adult patients with various mental health and substance abuse diagnoses
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans consistent with patient needs
- Document clinical interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Support both voluntary and committed patients, addressing a range of mental health conditions including depression, suicide risk, and severe mental illnesses
Required Qualifications
- Valid Virginia license (LAC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW)
- Master’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient psychiatric or substance abuse experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
- Proficient documentation skills and experience with EHR systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with adult populations presenting diverse diagnoses
- Previous experience in a facility with intake assessments and crisis intervention
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced mental health environment
