Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in outpatient and inpatient settings according to physician prescriptions.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized therapeutic treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Independently manage a full caseload, ensuring timely re-evaluations based on insurance authorization.
• Utilize department equipment including EMR systems such as Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
• Provide coverage in rehab and acute rehab settings, contributing to patient recovery and functional improvement.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii Occupational Therapist license (must be obtained prior to start date).
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience working with adult populations in outpatient and acute care settings.
• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross.
• Ability to work days, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within hospital and rehabilitation environments.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
• Knowledge of Medicare and insurance reimbursement processes for therapy re-evaluations.
