Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shift, hospital-based infusion center

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients receiving infusion therapies.
• Administer chemotherapy, intravesicular, and intrathecal treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses, manage side effects, and ensure safety during treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Support patients through education, comfort measures, and emotional well-being.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Active licensed Registered Nurse (RN) credentials.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in infusion centers or outpatient oncology settings.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and related protocols.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and manage patient care effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Certification in Oncology (OCN) preferred.
• ACLS certification and previous charge nurse experience advantageous.
• Experience with bone marrow aspirations, blood warmers, vein finders, or ultrasound-guided IV placement.
