Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art ED setting.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize advanced equipment including bipap, portable vent, Lucas, Ambu, Glidescope, and Vscan.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Document patient interactions accurately using the Meditech EMR system.
- Ensure safety and comfort of patients while adhering to unit policies and guidelines.
- Rotate weekends and work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or applications in process.
- Minimum of 8 years of ER experience.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Valid PALS or ENPC certification.
- Basic proficiency with emergency medical equipment and procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced certifications such as TNCC and NRP are highly preferred.
- Experience working with new, top-of-the-line emergency equipment.
- Self-motivated, easy-going, and ambitious personality suitable for a high-volume ED.
